WOOT WOOT It’s Friday!

How’s everyone doing with the challenge.  My legs and butt feel tight and a little sore – but a good sore.  We are on Day 8 of 21.  By now you should know that this challenge doesn’t take long to complete every day and the benefits will be worth it!  Your abs, legs and arms will be noticeably more toned.

I’ve been slacking on my recipe posts-SORRY.  My eating this week has been crap.  I’ve done no planning.  I’ll get back on track this weekend with some new recipes for you.

Todays workout is a full body circuit.  I love this workout.  It targets your whole body and you’ll feel great after.


Wednesday HITT workout

WOW with the clocks turning back an hour this past weekend  it’s so dark now by 5pm!  I leave for work in the morning and it’s dark and when I’m done work I have about 2 hours of sunlight.  Time to take my Vitamin D supplement!   Vitamin D is often called the sunshine vitamin because during the summer, your body makes vitamin D when you’re outside in the sun, but, around mid-October, the angle of the sun changes so no matter how sunny it is outside  your body is unable to make vitamin D through sun’s rays.

Vitamin D plays an important role in your overall health.  Too little of vitamin D can lower your immune system and increase your risk of heart disease and certain cancers.

Vitamin D also helps boost mood.  If you feel like you’ve been moody or irritable lately, it could be that  you’re vitamin D deficient.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist to see how much they recommend you take.


Today’s workout is a great Cardio workout.  It’s quick but tough.  You have the option of repeating the circuit if  you’d like.  One time through will take you 10 minutes.  Set your timer for 10 rounds of 45 seconds of working time and 15 seconds rest.
